Winners of the 2005 Canadian Comedy Award for Best Sketch Troupe, The Imponderables have racked up an impressive array of credentials. They were the first independent comedy troupe in The Second City Toronto’s 30-year history to headline their own show on the theatre’s mainstage. They have performed at the New Year’s Eve Comedy Extraveganza at Massey Hall, and at Talk of the Fest at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. Compared to ‘Comedy Titans’ SCTV and Monty Python, The Imponderables will be hosted by none other than LOL favorite Winston Spears.

A show that promises to be one of LOL Sudbury’s original ‘festival traditions’, Comedy of Cultures kicked off the inaugural Festival in 2007 and met with rave reviews from audience goers. Featuring hilarious comics who know how to knock at the funny-bone of diversity, this year’s comedic tossed-salad offers another eclectic mix of cultures, with a pinch of ‘red-neck’ thrown in for good measure.

	Baby Boomers is a fun filled, fact filled, laugh packed romp back to a time when bread was money, poodles were skirts and Father knew best. Simon B Cotter and Scott Harris revisit the 50s, 60s, and 70s while bringing back the dynamic of the two man comedy team. Hip, slick, and hilarious with a little bit of music thrown in, Simon and Scott celebrate the fads, events and accomplishments of the “Me” generation.
